I clicked the ad kind of randomly, wasn’t expecting much. You know how most app ads are. But this one ended up being good. The lessons are short, which helps because I usually just do one during a break or while waiting around. It doesn’t feel like I’m sitting down to “study,” more like picking up little basics here and there. Low-pressure and easy to stick with so far.

I’ve been using Sololearn for a while now, and it’s been reliable. The lessons load quickly, the code editor doesn’t randomly freeze, and my progress actually saves, which is a big deal because I’d hate to lose work or have to redo lessons. I mostly use it on my phone, sometimes on my laptop, and I haven’t run into any major problems. I think there was one small lag once, but it wasn’t enough to bother me. For a free way to learn coding, it feels dependable and saves me from worrying about losing progress or wasting time...

I had an issue where my Sololearn account wasn’t showing my subscription correctly, and I expected it to be a annoying back-and-forth. I reached out to support anyway, and they replied quickly, which actually surprised me.

They just asked for a few details, checked things out, and fixed it without making the whole thing complicated. The person helping me was polite and sounded like a real human, not just some copy-paste response. Happy with how it went, 5 stars from me.

sololearn is fine if you just want to squeeze in a quick lesson here and there, but after a while the whole streaks, XP, badges thing started getting on my nerves. I get what they’re going for, but it made it feel like I was trying not to fall behind instead of actually learning. Some days I just wanted to open the app, study a bit, and leave it at that. It’s not a bad app by any means, just probably better for people who like that extra push.

I’ve been using Sololearn for a while, the peer challenges are my favorite part. Fun. They make coding practice feel way less boring, and when I lose, I actually want to jump back in and try again. Motivating. Some of the questions do repeat here and there, but overall it’s been a useful and enjoyable way to keep practicing. Solid 4 stars from me.

I’ve been using it for coding practice and overall I’ve had a good time with it. The challenges are fun, and it’s nice to have something that keeps me thinking and gives me a chance to sharpen my problem-solving skills. That said, after doing a bunch of them, I did start to notice that some of the challenges feel a bit too similar or repeat the same kinds of ideas more than I’d like. It’s not a huge deal, because it’s still useful practice, but I think it would be even better if there were a little more variety mixed in.

I’m happy with this. For the price, it feels like a good value, and little things like it arriving as expected and working without any hassle made me feel like it was a solid buy. No regrets here

I’ve been using Sololearn to mess around with different coding languages, the range is good. There’s Python, Java, C++, SQL, plus some web development stuff, so I don’t really have to jump around looking for beginner lessons in different places. Some courses definitely feel more complete than others, I think, and there are a few areas where I kind of wish they went a bit deeper. But for trying out a new language or getting the basics down, it’s been really useful for me.

The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that a few chapters feel too short or skip over details I wish they explained more clearly. Still, for learning the basics and getting some quick practice in, it’s definitely helpful...

When I got stuck, people in the community jumped in quickly and were genuinely helpful. I appreciated the fast replies and the advice actually solved my issue. That said, the situation was frustrating enough that I was kind of expecting an apology too, not just a fix.

I’ve been using Sololearn for a few weeks now, and the progress tracking has been handy. It’s nice being able to see which lessons I already finished and exactly where I left off, because who wants to waste time figuring that out every time??

The streaks and course percentage are a nice little push too. They’re not super detailed or anything, but they do make me want to keep coming back and not break the habit, you know??

The only thing I’d really like is more info on what I’m struggling with, like weak areas or mistakes I keep making. Wouldn’t that be useful?? Still, it’s a good app overall, and I’d give it 4 stars.

I’ve been using it for daily practice and it’s been helpful. The exercises make it easy to stay consistent, even if I only have a little time each day. Good stuff overal.

I was into it at first because the lessons are short and easy to knock out on the bus or when I have a few minutes. But the app freezes often, and a couple times my progress didn’t save, which gets annoying fast.
There are also way too many nudges to upgrade, and the quizzes start to feel repetitive. Plus I’d get emails saying one thing, then the app would show something different, so I wasn’t always sure what was actually available. It’s not awful, but I don’t really feel like opening it every day anymore.

I like how the lessons are really clear and not too much at once. They break things down into small parts, so I don’t get lost as much. It makes learning coding feel way less stressful for me

I mainly took this for the certificate, and it helped make my CV look a bit better. It’s one of those things that feels worth it once you can actually add it on there. Happy with it overall.

The lessons themselves are fine, but... the app’s layout feels kind of messy. I keep tapping the wrong buttons, finding what I need takes longer than it should. It’s just a little frustrating to use.

I’d say Sololearn is a good place to start if you’re brand new to coding. The lessons are short, simple, and not too overwhelming, which makes it easier to keep going without feeling lost right away.

That said, some parts move a bit too fast. Like, I’d finish a lesson and still have to look things up because the explanation didn’t fully click. The quizzes are helpful, for sure, but I wish there were more examples along the way. Overall, it’s decent for beginners, just not perfect.

It was useful while I was looking into career options and gave me a little more direction

Well... trying to update my email turned into way more of a hassle than it should’ve been. The account settings were confusing, and when I reached out for help, support took a while to get back to me.
